Sinatra expert and Red Sox fan Jonathan Schwartz joins Sirius XM Sinatra Channel

XM Channel 73, Sirius Channel 75. Jonathan Schwartz is great on the radio, knows music and Sinatra. He is a life long Red Sox fan. via Radio Daily News.
  • I used to listen to his Sinatra radio show on WNEW AM in the 1980's and later on WNYC. He would talk about his experiences at Fenway Park over the years. A few years ago on his WNYC Christmas show, Suzyn Waldman dropped in and sang a capella. It was a baseball song which worked in the names of a number of players. Suzyn was brought up in Fenway Park as well. I think Charles Osgood also dropped in that day.
After the Yankees lost the 2001 World Series, I recall Schwartz saying he would gaze at the standings at length over the winter, delighting that the Yankees were now losers just the same as the Pittsburgh Pirates.
