(Ken Davidoff, Newsday):"It appears as if Luis Sojo, who has managed the Yankees' Class A Tampa affiliate the last three years, is not a strong candidate to get Meacham's job. But there is some good news for the Yankees' former beloved veteran:

• He now is likely to hold on to his job as the Team Venezuela manager in
• the World Baseball Classic.
