ESPN advertisers should be aware

On tonight's MLB game on ESPN, one of the "guys" comes up with the company line, ie, that a lot of people in Boston were glad to get Manny out of there. Rob Dibble doesn't have a fraction of the audience that ESPN, MLB/Red Sox/BBWAA do, but he did draw attention to the fact that mass media information is skewed to whatever the owners want. Rick Monday said on the Dodger broadcast the other night, "Don't believe everything you read," referencing the wealth of coverage on Manny. I'm not saying a lot of the publicity wasn't true--I saw some of it myself- but that there's another side. In today's baseball society, you generally get only one side.
