Without Willie Randolph to blame, Steve Somers chooses Johan Santana

I tuned in to WFAN to hear whom Steve Somers would blame for the Mets loss v Phillies tonight. Steve blamed everything on Willie Randolph when he was there, so I was curious whom he'd go to next. It wasn't going to be Jerry Manuel--Jeff Wilpon wouldn't have liked that.

• knowing the Mets were without their closer Billy Wagner,
• should have demanded the ball in the 9th.

(From a caller later in the evening, it sounds like the Mets 3B coach needs some blame. If so, it's getting closer to Jerry Manuel which gets closer to Wilpon).
