Ken Davidoff's opinion: Transition and no CC

Nice to note someone doesn't automatically assume the Yankees will sign the highest priced players on the market. They did for awhile but have stopped. The prices today are too high. Perhaps it will take awhile longer for some to realize it, as quixotic as that thought might be.

• The company my father works for has had Yankee box seats for at least 50 years, possibly longer. I've been lucky enough to see Yankee games in those seats. In the new stadium, they would have cost $850,000. The company is letting the seats go. Traditions do die. The seats had recently cost $175,000. (sm)
