Tom Verducci only lasted for 3 pitches in his celebrity spring training at bat

In 2005, Tom Verducci participated in the Toronto Blue Jays spring training camp and wrote about it. His one at bat took place at a Blue Jays intrasquad game. On an 0-2 pitch he hit a pop fly to the first baseman.

• I'm just saying that a much older guy, Billy Crystal, did surprisingly well to get a well hit foul ball down the first base line and even got the count to 3-1. And there was another team on the field. It was hopefully a one time thing, but the guy actually didn't embarrass himself.
