NY baseball writer--like MLB--gives Cleveland Indians a complete pass on Paul Byrd's $25,000 HGH tab

An entire article in Newsday by a BBWAA member on the great new season for the Indians, how they "vanquished" the Yankees, etc.
  • Not a word about the biggest cheats in the 2007 post season, the Cleveland Indians and Paul Byrd.
Byrd said MLB and the Indians knew of his his pituitary problem. They denied it.
  • Which one is lying? Why isn't this being covered 24/7?
  • Like MLB.com, when it's the Yankees, say the worst things imaginable.
This is how Bud Selig wants it. Perhaps Jack O'Connell too. Baseball media check their character at the door without thinking twice. Because the Yankees and their fans remain silent (or feel "it goes with the territory") this continues.
