To: SF Chronicle: JASON GRIMSLEY DID NOT BUY DRUGS FROM RADOMSKI TIL AFTER HE LEFT THE YANKEES, PER MITCHELL REPORT

The Yankees are viewed as patsies since they allow every aspiring celebrity baseball reporter to lie about the team and players 24/7. Now they even have David Cone fumbling about 'eras' and all this crap. I'll bet Cone himself doesn't know that much of the stuff the media asks him about is lies, and he takes them seriously anyway. IT TAKES TIME TO GO THROUGH ALL THE FACTS. Best idea: follow Paul Byrd, when asked about PED's, he says "It's a private matter," and he's left alone, end of story.
  • After all the Yankee bashing, yet another article with grossly misleading if not false information making the Yankees sound worse than anyone. Here the SF Chronicle (2/10/08) says GRIMSLEY BOUGHT DRUGS WHILE A YANKEE IN 2000, WHICH IS FALSE. GRIMSLEY DIDN'T BUY THEM UNTIL 2001 AFTER HE'D LEFT THE YANKEES. THE DATES OF HIS CHECKS ARE ALL IN THE REPORT.
(CHRONICLE): "Grimsley bought drugs while ON THE YANKEES and 3 other teams." But,
  • NOT TRUE ACCORDING TO THE MITCHELL REPORT EVEN THOUGH THIS WRITER SAYS "MITCHELL WROTE.." ***WHATEVER MITCHELL WROTE WAS WHAT NOVITSKY WROTE AND PASSED ON TO MITCHELL.***
  • THIS IS WHAT IS IN THE MITCHELL REPORT ABOUT JASON GRIMSLEY WHO WAS NOT ON THE YANKEES AFTER 2000:
"Radomski produced 14 checks written by Grimsley from totaling $35,400. Grimsley's name, with several addresses and telephone numbers, is listed in an address book seized by federal agents." FROM THE SF CHRONICLE TODAY IS SOMETHING VERY DIFFERENT: SF Chronicle, 2/10/08, "Yankees Implicated in Performance-enhancing drug use," SF Gate.com
  • GRIMSLEY WAS NOT ON THE YANKEES IN 2001, MITCHELL DID NOT 'WRITE' THAT HE WAS. GRIMSLEY'S CHECKS TO RADOMSKI DID NOT BEGIN UNTIL JUNE 2001. HAVE A GREAT CAREER AT ESPN, REALLY, ALL OF YOU. (SM)
YANKEES, PLEASE ALERT YOUR EMPLOYEES TO LOOK AT THE FACTS, DO NOT ACCEPT WHAT MEDIA TELL YOU. No other Yankee fan blog will suggest this, as most of their authors would love to work for ESPN. Therefore, they assume the ESPN line.
