So much for Randy Levine being gone.

Bud Selig shill Jon Heyman wants the Yankees to up their payroll--then he can bash them for doing it. He was on WFAN again today with Mike and Chris- giddy as always. He's in a panic that even though Hank isn't a "baseball person" the Yankees should go with his preference to mortgage the team's future for a pitcher from Minnesota. He acknowledges that Hal doesn't want him and neither does the "baseball guy" Brian Cashman. But guess who Heyman puts in his sales pitch today, saying this moron--who bragged that he did the Randy Johnson deal which turned into a nightmare--wants the Minnesota pitcher:
  • Randy Levine.
Yes, they said he'd soon be gone, but the porcine Mr. Levine is put back front and center by the giddy guy from a glossy publication, Mr. Heyman. If that weren't bad enough, I read from Peter Abraham in his Lohud Yankee blog the following individual was seated behind Jesus Christ Superstar Mitchell today:
  • Randy Levine.
Randy Levine is supposedly in charge of the YES Network. That's going down the tubes so I guess he's trying to insert himself in other areas.
  • P.S. A caller to WFAN today said he received a voicemail message from "John Sterling" urging him to send his money in for Yankee tickets. The caller said he's never buying another MLB ticket again. You never know if a caller is fake or not, but he seemed logical.
