"Cubs radio broadcaster Ron Santo returned to the booth for the first time since April 21 when he was hospitalized for an irregular heart beat. He led the singing during Friday's seventh-inning stretch."
- Just a mention in the AP story about the Cubs game. I was glad to hear Mr. Santo is back and that the AP reporter was able to identify him as a "radio broadcaster." I get upset when various press reports(MLB) and media outlets (including XM 175's interviews) refuse to identify radio broadcasters as such. They use the term "broadcaster" like that's supposed to help. It doesn't.
AP report, 5/4/07, from NY Times
"Cubs 6, Nationals 4."
