"Outside the fact that Turner can now boast about having the two newest Hall of Fame entrants, the hires are not inspiring. I've heard Gwynn work as an analyst. At best he's average.

Bob Raissman's response in his column today about Turner Sports hiring Gwynn and Ripken for their post-season baseball package. It's always nice to hear an expert in sports media analysis agree with me. Not that you people care about substantiation, but it can be found on this blog.
