What would Red Sox' excuse be if they had 20,000 more seats to sell?

1. Boston Herald: Yanks pay in trading Wright to Orioles

2. Hartford Courant: Yanks pay, but hope to profit; Yanks trading Wright

  • Headlines from southern New England newspapers posted on Boston Dirt Dogs blog.
  • So, in other words, 'YANKS PAY?" Translation: Since the Red Sox have approximately 20,000 fewer seats to sell per game, their ticket revenue may never match that of some other teams, NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO.
This is an ingenious method to keep misery alive for centuries. An intellectual observation, not an emotional one.
