Perfect! Lou Piniella & Cubs said to pursue Arod

A report says Lou Piniella wants to add Arod (ESPN citing Gene W.), and expects the Cubs to aggressively pursue him.

• It would be a "win-win" for both parties perhaps involving 2 or 3 other teams in the trade to get a pitcher back for the Yankees.
• Chicago has some excellent nightlife and highrollers (from what I hear), etc., so that would be good for Arod, too.
• It gives the Cubs fans some hope for a legitimate team (Arod takes walks too). Granted they need pitching like everyone else, but Arod would definitely help.
• THE BASEBALL MEDIA MAFIA KEEPS TO THE SURFACE MANTRA THAT 'FANS DON'T LIKE AROD BECAUSE HE DIDN'T DO WELL IN THE POSTSEASON.' YOU MEDIA GUYS KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT IF THAT'S WHAT YOU THINK.
