Orioles make roster moves

The Orioles have announced they have selected Right Handed Pitcher Jim Brower, a non-roster invitee to camp, and added him to their 40-man roster. Brower, 33, was 3-3 with a 5.37 ERA in 69 games between San Francisco and Atlanta last season. In 7 major league seasons, he is 33-31 with a 4.35 ERA. He signed a minor league contract with the Orioles on January 27. At the same time, the Orioles reassigned 7 non-roster players to their minor league camp in Sarasota, Florida. Outfielder Napoleon Calzado, Infielder/Outfielder Howie Clark, Left Handed Pitcher Vic Darensbourg, Infielder Eddy Garabito, Right Handed Pitcher Andy Mitchell, 3rd Baseman Fernando Tatis and Ooutfielder Esix Snead.
