For all of you who drink the "haves" & "have nots" Kool-Aid
Charley Steiner mentions during the Japan game today that 'Yomiuri' in Giants refers
to its owner, a media conglomerate---not a town or city. Likewise, a 'Nippon' team
refers to another business owner, not a place. Since your boss has now sold you that
baseball is global, this should concern you. By the way, will the recipient of the
corporate largess of WBC be compensating vendors at local ballparks who've lost income to him? Why not? At what point does Al give back some of the millions he's taken? By
the way, the main point of this whole thing is to increase revenues from Communist
China---can't hurt seeing Al on tv with Castro.
