Alfonso Soriano goes for out of the park record in salary arbitration

Alfonso Soriano's case was heard in St. Petersburg today, with a decision expected before the end of the weekend. The previous record figure in arbitration was achieved by Andruw Jones in 2001. Soriano is asking for $12 million, & the Nationals have offered $10 million.
