Jeff Erickson plays Billy Bean interview with Joe Castellano

Billy says he was actually surprised at the great success of Huston Street, turning into a lights-out closer his 1st year AND winning ROY. Billy credits his scouting dept. for finding Street & convincing Beane that he should come up. Also pleased they drafted Bobby Crosby--they got a great hitter & top defensive short stop. On Rich Harden, of course he was on dl at end of year, a great loss to the team with a pulled ribcage. Beane mentions Harden is a WORKOUT MANIAC-- doesn't say this is what did it, but that sometimes happens. Joe asks Billy about the idea of "chemistry," somewhat controversial in Moneyball. Note to all: Billy's answer is exactly the same as Joe Torre's has always been (sorry): "You have it when you win."
