Dr. Andrews examines Jeff Bagwell from his hospital bed

Dr. James Andrews is recovering from a heart attack, but Jeff Bagwell says the doctor examined him from his hospital bed. Bagwell traveled to the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama to assist the Astros in determining his future. Astros owner Tim Purpura expects findings within a few days.
