Gordon Edes on XM on Grady Little

Edes says Grady Little did a tremendous job in Boston--- he turned around the culture of what had been a dismal team--Carl Everett had called Joe Kerrigan a racist; guys who weren't in the starting lineup refused to even put on their uniforms in the club house. Edes said a normally happy guy like Scott Hatteberg said he & others dreaded coming to the park everyday. Little wouldn't have been fired for leaving Pedro in too long on most other teams. Even though the team says that wasn't the reason. Little also wasn't into numbers as much as others. Re: Manny---no likely deals on horizon.
