Gordon Edes, Boston Globe--on Theo siting

Gordon relates that Theo is lending his influence to a charitable cause, joining his brother this morning at the Home for Little Wanderers to present a check for $25,000. Gordon thinks Bill Lajoie would be a good choice for GM, aside from some health concerns. Re: Johnny Damon, Edes takes the agent's points, and thinks the Yankees are just being tactical by not already offering a deal.
