Mike Downey, Chicago Tribune baseball writer
Charley hosts Mike Downey, whose company is also
parent of the Chicago Cubs. They discuss the team's
interest in Rafael Furcal, especially as lead-off hitter.
And, that the Cubs are glad they didn't go for
Carlos Beltran. Both guys are very high on Kim Ng.
Before that, Charley spoke with Bill Shaikin of the LA
Times, mainly about the Baseball World Cup, and the
Angels' stadium being one of its venues.
