Dibble changes his rules for NL Cy Young

In his criteria for AL Cy Young award, Rob never allowed anything except stats, and only stats from this season. BUT, for NL Cy Young, he just said something different. He thinks Chris Carpenter deserves it especially after what he's been through the past few years...having a tough time, having Tommy John surgery, having been let go by the Blue Jays. I wonder what caused Rob to change his mind?
