Yankee 2013 Opening Day Monday, April 1 v Red Sox, 1pm game to be televised on ESPN followed by Giants at Dodgers, Phillies at Braves, and Cardinals at Diamondbacks

1/3/13, "The Yankees will open the 2013 season by hosting the Red Sox at 1 p.m. April 1 in a game televised by ESPN. The game will be part of an afternoon doubleheader on the network, with the Giants visiting the Dodgers at 4 p.m. ESPN2 will televise a prime-time doubleheader that night featuring the Phillies at the Braves and the Cardinals at the Diamondbacks.

The baseball season will begin at 8 p.m. March 31 when ESPN carries the Rangers' visit to the Astros, the American League debut for the Astros against their new in-state division rival."
