Francona's interview with the Indians ran from 8:15am to 5:30pm

10/5/12, "Terry Francona says managing the Cleveland Indians would be like a family reunion," Cleveland Plain Dealer, Paul Hoynes

"Francona's interview started at 8:15 a.m. and ended at 5:30 p.m.

If Francona gets the job, it will be interesting to see if Alomar stays with the team. In Boston, Brad Mills was one of Francona's bench coaches. Mills was just fired as Houston's manager so he could be a possible addition to Francona's new coaching staff if he gets the job.

There is a managerial opening in Boston where Bobby Valentine was just fired. Last winter Alomar interviewed for that job. The Red Sox are reportedly trying to work a deal to acquire manager John Farrell from Toronto.  Two years ago Alomar interviewed for the Blue Jays job.

So the former six-time All-Star catcher for the Indians could have some options if Francona's gets the Cleveland job."
