Great radio ad opposing Mayor Bloomberg's 16 ounce beverage ban

I heard a terrific radio commercial against Mayor Bloomberg's large beverage ban during the Yankee game Friday night. They have a website for those who are interested. "Mayor Bloomberg is proposing to ban sales of sugar-sweetened beverages over 16 ounces in New York City. Fountain and bottled beverages over 16 ounces could no longer be sold in restaurants, movie theaters, sports venues, coffee shops, food trucks and street carts.

According to the mayor, New Yorkers need help deciding what size beverage is appropriate.

If this now, what’s next?

Won’t you join us?"

(I liked the commercial because it sounded like a real conversation between normal people who were shocked that Bloomberg would intrude into their lives in this manner. ed.)
