The local NY City PBS radio station WNYC replayed
an interview with Bernie Williams that first aired on 6/28/11, a few days after his first old timers day at Yankee Stadium. Bernie relayed a comment made to him by Bruce Springsteen at one of Joe Torre's charity fundraisers:
- "You may be old for baseball, but you're a spring chicken in rock and roll."
