Red Sox radio booth was next to Mr. Steinbrenner's box at old Yankee Stadium

Overheard on Red Sox radio tonight, Texas at Boston, Joe Castiglione says Mr. Steinbrenner's box was near the Red Sox radio booth at the old Yankee Stadium which allowed them to see his facial expressions following events he wasn't happy about. At some point, the Yankees installed one way glass so you couldn't see through. Castiglione said Brian Cashman said it was more for Cashman's sake so people couldn't see if he was getting in trouble.

• Joe also said George generously gave to the Red Sox Jimmy Fund charity and would come on the radio with them every year.
