Pete Rose to be first guest on new WQRT Cincinnati radio show

- "This is the third station for Furman, long-time host of WLW’s “SportsTalk” franchise. He did a year to help launch “SupertalkFM96.5″ in 2007, but lost his job when the station switched to 96 ROCK in December 2007."...
- Furman was fired without cause by WLW-AM in 2006, three weeks after being suspended for calling ex-Bengals receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh a "racist" on his show. Furman says Houshmandzadeh had called him a "white --- punk" for ripping him on the air after Houshmandzadeh missed a paid appearance on WLW-AM.
Two months later, he debuted on "Supertalk FM96.5." That gig lasted a year, until "96 Rock" replaced talk in December 2007.
