Alabama radio station switches from Braves to Rays

'Icing on the cake' for the WIQR 1410 Prattville/Montgomery decision were the departure of John Smoltz, changes in the Braves radio booth, rise to the Big Club of local Biscuit players Evan Longoria, David Price and BJ Upton, and being with a team on the upswing:

• "Also, so many Braves games are on TV that local lis­teners have other avenues to keep up with the team.
• Rays fans locally have much fewer op­tions.The Braves will be on occa­sionally, such as Opening Day against the Phillies. But it'll be up to another local station to pick up the Braves' broadcasts on a regular basis."...
