Include newspapers in the 'fairness doctrine'

(Delaware County Times): "Why stop at radio stations and the big networks? You want this “Fairness Doctrine” to really work? Great. So do I.

• The next logical step is to make it applicable to newspapers.

• The last survey I read noted about nine of every 10 journalists
• lean to the left.

• Some so far they occasionally fall over.

In the name of the “Fairness Doctrine,” that’s just not fair.

• You know the big players – the New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Boston Globe, Washington Post and the Chicago Tribune.

The “Trib” is my personal favorite. That’s the paper that during the height of World War II, after our great naval victory at Midway,

• announced to the world that we had broken the Japanese code.
