ESPN's Dave Barnett joins Texas Rangers radio

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — "ESPN announcer Dave Barnett is joining the radio team of the Texas Rangers.

• Barnett agreed Friday to a multiyear deal to be the partner of longtime Rangers play-by-play announcer Eric Nadel.

The 50-year-old Barnett has been with ESPN for 13 years. He's a college basketball and football announcer and has covered baseball and golf for the network.

Barnett lives in the Dallas area, where he started his broadcasting career before spending nine years as the television voice of the San Antonio Spurs."...via Radio Daily News
