If being awash in cash means Selig is good, then wage freeze, vacation cutbacks, obviously mean he is bad.

If MLB has a hiring freeze, wage freeze, and is cutting back vacations, someone miscalculated. They could have saved a lot more money cutting costly fossil fuel intensive international initiatives. The international focus is expensive and risky in the best of circumstances.

If being awash in cash means Selig is a success, then being short of cash obviously means he's a failure.
