• The editorial staff of the NY Times posted the above headline at the conclusion of tonight's game which was pitched by Mussina. I thought, is it tomorrow already? Does this mean "time travel" is real, like Art Bell says, and Phil Hughes has already lost tomorrow's game?

*P.S. I'm sure the NY Times is right, but if Phil Hughes is only 21 years old and he's already had "5 professional seasons," that means he was a pro at age 15 or 16. Wow. I don't question a fact like this from the Times, as I said. Just a surprising one to note in this context.

• UPDATE: The NY Times does file a recap of tonight's game. If Manny Ramirez had a personal newsletter, this report would fit in. It even refers to current Times' storyline favorite Kyle Farnsworth as a "hulking righthander." (Poor Manny had to face Farnsworth).
