Non-Sequitor al Absurdum by WFAN host obsessed with Andy Pettitte

WFAN continues to provide Steve Somers a microphone for what has long since become a sick campaign against Andy Pettitte. The story of the night is Clemens' upcoming 60 Minutes interview, but Somers can't let go of Mr. Pettitte.
  • I thought at first he was going to say the logical thing, ie since the bulk of the Mitchell report was from New Yorkers Radomski/McNamee, one assumes similar lists of names exist for other teams in baseball who just lucked out to escape the Mitchell report.
But, no. Somers can't stay on Roger Clemens or even Radomski McNamee. He comes up with another ludicrous insinuation about Andy, saying approximately the following:
  • **Even though the bulk of the Mitchell Report came from Radomski and McNamee, the possibility certainly existed.....
  • for Clemens
  • AAAAAND Pettitte
  • to get anything they wanted from any number of suppliers.**
These kinds of remarks remain in various media outlets. Since that's the case, WFAN's continuation has nothing to do with the fact that the son of a senior WFAN executive works in the Cleveland Indians front office. I'm sure you'd want to know if his son worked for the Yankees, but he doesn't.
