So, just because the Daily News decided to go with Tiger Woods winning a major tournament -- a much bigger overall event than the Yankees winning again -- you judge them as being anti-Rivera. That makes a lot of sense.
Did you look inside the paper? There is a game story that talks all about him, plus a sidebar. I see how they continue to ignore him.
Maybe you're a jokester--I don't know--but that's obviously not what I said. I said it was the third time I'd noticed this happenstance in the past week, where the Post showed him on one or both of the covers and the Daily News didn't. The day after the Blue Jays game where he had 3 strikeouts, Newsday gave him the entire back cover. As I mentioned, the Daily News gave it to Melky and Cano. I'm merely documenting what the media does--these are decisions they make. People can draw whatever conclusion they want. The idea, as you say, that it was just the Yankees winning again is exactly how a non-Yankee fan would view it. You're entitled to your view.
Baseball blog. I agree with Doug Pappas that any writer meeting the Commissioner’s standards of good journalism should be fired. Not affiliated with XM.
