Joba Chamberlain in N.Y. City today to get passport

On Yankee radio Suzyn Waldman just mentioned Joba was in NYC today to get his passport. She said you can think 2 ways about this:
  • Chamberlain needed to get a passport to play Ottawa for the Scranton team.
or
  • Chamberlain needed a passport to play in Toronto in a few days with the Yankee team.
Suzyn also said Edwar Ramirez had pitched well for 2 innings in Scranton yesterday or today, otherwise would be up here now. But he's expected soon. Torre almost put Shelley Duncan in place of Abreu in right field tonight but decided to just let Duncan DH. For all the fans of the youngsters.
