AP SPORTS IS SO CHEAP IT USES FREELANCERS--YET ATTACKS YANKS on OPENING DAY
THE WORD IS OUT--AP SPORTS IS CHEAP--THEY USE 2 "freelance writers" FOR A BARGAIN-BASEMENT SLANT ON OPENING DAY--HATE AND ENVY FOR THE YANKEES AND THEIR PLAYERS-- THEIR names are at the end of a boilerplate article attacking the Yanks. THESE FREELANCERS MUST BE DESPERATE FOR A FULL-TIME GIG & KNOW WHERE THE MONEY$$ IS: BASHING THE YANKEES--INSTEAD OF DOING ANY ACTUAL REPORTING.
- That helps get a job interview at ESPN, MLB, INC., FOX, BP, ETC. The story also lists 1 regular staff person from AP Sports--wow--AP must've decided to pay health insurance and disability for 1 of the 3 copywriters on this OPENING DAY BOILERPLATE PIECE.
- HEY, AP SPORTS, HOW MANY MILLIONS OF THE YANKEE FAN'S MONEY IS GOING TO OTHER TEAMS IN REVENUE SHARING?
- AP, HOW MANY MILLIONS OF THE YANKEE FAN'S LUXURY TAX MONEY IS GOING TO PAY LIMOS AND IDIOT SONS OF YOUR BILLIONAIRE PALS AT MLB, INC.?
- AP, AN IDEA FOR YOU: WHY NOT DO A WEEPY STORY ON THE YANKEE FANS WHO CAN'T AFFORD TO GO TO GAMES, OR CAN ONLY GO TO 1 GAME A YEAR, OR CAN'T AFFORD CABLE TV?
- From various reports on google mentioning the 2 freelancers' names, it appears 1 is a lifelong Cubs fan, and 1 is stationed in LA. They're free to be biased, but I'm free to point it out. It should be standard procedure in any baseball reporting to establish the bias of the authors.
