Rob Neyer on the Beat today on umpires' strike zone

Rob mentioned the autonomous nation of umpires since Sandy Alderson is now with the Padres & not mlb per se. Says the strike zone is getting smaller 'BY THE DAY,' with no sign of let-up. Rob has influence--why can't he do something about this mess? I looked into the subject, who replaced Alderson, etc. , & it looks like there's no hope. There are others upset about the situation, have contacted mlb, but have received no reply. There is an endless array of subjects to worry about in baseball.
