Auburn broadcasters' call of final play v Alabama
11/30/13, "
Chris Davis returns a missed field goal the length of the field at Jordan-Hare Stadium in the final play of #Auburn's 34-28 win against Alabama on November 30, 2013." (Will post announcers' names when I find them, ed.)
Update, 12/3/13, NY Times article describes this call by Auburn's Rod Bramblett. I can't tell from the article if Mr. Bramblett does both radio and tv:
12/2/13, "Auburn Announcer Has the Call of a Lifetime, Twice in One Month," NY Times, Richard Sandomir
"“Holy cow! Oh my God! Auburn wins! Auburn has won the Iron Bowl! Auburn has won the Iron Bowl in the most unbelievable fashion you will ever see! I cannot believe it! Thirty-four to 28. And we thought a miracle at Jordan-Hare was amazing. Oh my Lord in heaven!”"

This was one of the most exciting and craziest endings to a game that I have ever seen. It was destiny that Auburn was supposed to win this game. With one second left in the game and the game tied, Alabama decides to kick a long field goal instead of going in to overtime. The field goal is short and the Auburn player who was there waiting for the ball catches it, and runs 109 yards to the end zone, winning the game. You can't write and ending like that. The reason why this game was so big is not only because it had national title implications, because it’s one of the most storied rivalries in all of sports.
