Pete Rose to be first guest on new WQRT Cincinnati radio show

  • Furman was fired without cause by WLW-AM in 2006, three weeks after being suspended for calling ex-Bengals receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh a "racist" on his show. Furman says Houshmandzadeh had called him a "white --- punk" for ripping him on the air after Houshmandzadeh missed a paid appearance on WLW-AM.

Two months later, he debuted on "Supertalk FM96.5." That gig lasted a year, until "96 Rock" replaced talk in December 2007.
