Brewers GM Doug Melvin was given his marching orders from owner Mark Attanasio to hire a "world class pitching coach" after the Milwaukee pitchers ranked next-to-last in the NL in ERA, and
- Melvin met with Peterson at Newark Airport a week ago. How often does a GM fly halfway across the country to interview a pitching coach? Isn't it usually the other way around?
