Snafu in new Yankee Stadium 'high home' tv camera angle

(Neil Best Watchdog): "With the new Yankee Stadium set to host its first game Friday, TV executives and cameramen still are concerned about some of the angles and positions there.
  • Most notably, the "high home'' camera behind the plate must shoot through netting that protects fans from batted balls.
The initial position behind the plate was marred by the wires that hold up the net. The YES Network was able to move to a lower spot that avoids the wires but not the net itself, spokesman Eric Handler said. Mr. Best notes a snafu was first reported by Lohud Yankee blog.
