- no longer will cover the Yankees and Mets as beats,
- but instead will use the work of the Daily News' beat writers,
- "The Star-Ledger's three-person baseball team -
- Ed Price, Dan Graziano, and Jeremy Cothran - have all left the paper.
- We also hear the paper is close to hiring one baseball writer - they've targeted someone in Miami - even though it's the most important sport in the NY-NJ area."...
