Grifters Anonymous: MLB thrilled, dead sure Obama means big money to them, parrot talking points
The "hope and change" Obama spoke of was actually to get more millions for back room dealers in the global game of baseball. Not to help regular people. The AP report has quotes from MLB big wigs repeating talking points of democrat candidates (how America has been such a bad country) and how global baseball will now improve.
- I guess they think their new buddy Obama will like hearing his talking points back and will give them more
- sympathetic judges and various other perks.
- Sandy Alderson,
- Don Porter,
- Mark Shapiro,
- Jimmie Lee Solomon (who has the presence to mention the world has other problems than international baseball),
- Bob Du Puy,
- Harvey Schiller,
- Donald Fehr,
- Rob Manfred, and
- Scott Boras
- all weigh in on how baseball will be profoundly improved because of Obama.
- The media are in a position to question their every move, but refuse to do so.
- No one can afford all this air travel and it's inconsistent with MLB's stated concern with fossil fuel emissions.
