Suzyn today on Yankee radio reminds attendance in the mid 1990's was lagging in the Bronx. The poor stats were used to pitch that the Yankees "needed a new stadium, because nobody would come to the Bronx." Lower attendance today means lower Yankee revenue shared with other teams.
