  • His is the sixth name from the top, directly below Lucchino's.
  • It's a hideous conflict, recklessly allowed by Mitchell, the Sox, and Selig.
Hank, God bless him, wasn't afraid to call the Sox on it."
  • Shaughnessy references Hank's comment:
"They [the Red Sox] had plenty of players doing that stuff, too. It's just that those players weren't mentioned in the Mitchell Report." ***I made a similar point yesterday in, "Everyone is Afraid of ESPN--except Hank." Hank has no reason to tiptoe around the truth. He's not a Director of the HOF like his father, and my guess is he doesn't aspire to be. ie He doesn't really give a rat's ass what Selig, DuPuy, etc. think.
