Bob Nightengale fails to mention Paul Byrd

How brave are guys like Bob Nightengale, hiding behind a microphone knowing he can defame anyone he wants anytime. And he'll be invited back to do it again like all the rest. He can say anything, no one will correct them or even timidly seek accountability. On Baseball Beat Bob and Charley fail to mention Paul Byrd, the biggest cheater of 2007. Bob does say however, "Andy Pettitte lied. " Really Bob, when was that? Steiner says nothing, allows this to stand. Then Bob comes up with the tried and true sports talk radio angle of, "Well, it's hard to believe Andy did it just 2 twice because you know people say you can't just use HGH a couple times you have to use it a lot more." What people are those, Bob? Bob, you should address Brian McNamee with your schoolyard bully remarks--Pettitte only agreed to what McNamee said. Steiner even builds upon this saying reporters are going to be on Andy all year. Really, Charley? About what, a defamatory NY area report dramatically staged as a cure for all of baseball? Nightengale, "People are most concerned about Pettitte, that's who everyone is watching." Why don't you say that about Paul Byrd, Bob and Charley? Andy's only in the news today because of Roger Clemens' statements, not because of anything he did. Baseball Beat has become a free for all in dispensing defamatory information about the Yankees.
