Ken Rosenthal perfect example of baseball media phony

He lectures us with this headline today: "Yanks shouldn't skimp on center field," saying they should go out and buy someone.
"The Yankees treat the luxury tax in the same brazen way that certain celebrities treat rehabilitation centers — as part of the price for maintaining a gaudy lifestyle. They check in, check out and proceed just as before."
  • Now, he's telling them not to skimp on center field, how could they be such idiots.
This is the successful baseball media pattern: bash the Yankees for spending, then tell them they have to spend more. Then bash them again for spending. See?
