New HOF'ers sell goods on QVC day after induction---NY Post

From Phil Mushnick, something for future Hall of Famers to plan for:

• "Tuesday afternoon, an e-mail arrives announcing that Ripken and Gwynn will pay honor to their election to the Hall of Fame by appearing, the very next night, on the QVC home shopping network, at which time they'll "share stories of their celebrated baseball careers" - while selling their autographs.

• According to QVC, Ripken autographed baseballs went for $280 apiece, the Gwynn ball for $190 - shipping and handling not included."
