Taxpayers turning down stadium deals

Taxpayers turn down stadiums for the NFL in Seattle, NBA in Sacramento, for sprucing up the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, and for an MLS soccer team outside of Kansas City (they'll keep looking). Do the billionaires who stand to gain ever volunteer to redistribute the profits to the taxpayers? That would mean someone would have to audit the books....
